Project Overview
This project involved the strip-out and comprehensive modification of existing services to facilitate the creation of a 60-person Audiology Teaching Room and three OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) rooms at Aston University. All architectural design targets and specifications were successfully achieved, resulting in a sustainable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing teaching environment.
Electrical Scope of Works
- Installation of general and emergency lighting systems
- Implementation of telecommunication systems
- Installation of security detection and alarm systems
- Fire detection and alarm systems
- Earthing and bonding systems
- Data cabling and systems infrastructure
Mechanical Scope of Works
- Installation of new hot, hot return, and cold water supply pipes to each basin
- Installation of a Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) system, including associated ductwork
