As part of the £25 million Town Deal investment to improve Bloxwich, the King George V Memorial Playing Fields are set to undergo a major transformation, creating improved sporting, leisure and community facilities for local residents.
The redevelopment will include:
- A new pavilion incorporating a café and community space
- A new 3G artificial grass sports pitch with floodlighting and storage
- Modern changing rooms and showers
- New public toilets
- A multi-use games area
- Improved parking facilities
- Enhanced landscaping and external areas
E H Humphries (Norton) Ltd are pleased to be involved in this exciting project, working with Interclass PLC to deliver the mechanical and electrical (MEP) works for the new pavilion.
Works are due to commence shortly, and we will be working alongside our vetted and trusted specialist subcontractor partners to help deliver the project to a high standard, supporting the wider redevelopment of this important community facility.
